Dear da Capo fans, friends, and concertgoers,
We would like to inform you that the upcoming da Capo Udo Jürgens show on February 16, 2026, in Dortmund must be moved from the Westfalenhalle to Hall 2.
All tickets already purchased remain valid for the new venue.

However, we would like to ask you to note the following: As the seating in the Westfalenhalle Dortmund cannot be adapted 1:1 to Hall 2 of the Westfalenhallen, each customer must be assigned a new seat on site. Each guest will receive a seat of at least equal value. The exchange will take place immediately before the show; you do not need to do anything in advance. 

To ensure that you can enjoy the show as relaxed as possible, please note the following schedule in advance:

(*) Ticket exchange takes place in Hall 1. All ticket holders should use Entrance 1 to the foyer of Hall 1. This is located towards the “Westfalenhallen” subway station, at parking lot P3.

He is a music legend, an icon, a world star - Udo Jürgens. Especially in this special anniversary year, he is on everyone's lips, ears and hearts. The chance to experience their favorite star Udo Jürgens one more time and his brand new, previously unreleased song “Als ich fortging” live on stage for the first time ever has thrilled thousands of people, so that due to the high demand three days before Udo's 90th birthday, twelve more additional dates  have now been announced. The live program “Da Capo Udo Jürgens” with Pepe Lienhard is the musical legacy of the iconic audience favourite, who we all miss so much, that has become a unique show. Tobias Licht and Karim Khawatmi, two other stars of showbiz, will host the entertaining show in an irregularly changing line-up.

In addition to countless unforgotten hits such as “Ich war noch niemals in New York”, “Griechischer Wein”, “Aber bitte mit Sahne” and “Mit 66 Jahren”, the song “Als ich fortging” (release: September 20, 2024), which was recently and surprisingly discovered in Udo Jürgens' estate, will of course also be part of the brand new original show “Da Capo Udo Jürgens”. Under the direction of Pepe Lienhard, the same orchestra that accompanied him at his last concert in Zurich ten years ago will bring Udo's legacy back to the stage from fall 2024, initially in 18 cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and for additional dates in twelve other German cities.

For Pepe Lienhard, himself a highly talented bandleader and saxophonist, it is a great pleasure and honor to pay tribute to his long-time friend and companion Udo Jürgens on the occasion of his 90th birthday and the 10th anniversary of his death with this phenomenal show: “Udo was such an important part of my life - I owe him a lot. We all miss him very much and are looking forward to going on tour with Udo once again,” explains Lienhard emotionally.

The live show will be a musical journey through the extraordinary life's work of the unique artist, entertainer and star Udo Jürgens. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the audience will experience an ingeniously staged, absolutely spectacular show, both visually and acoustically: elaborately digitally edited original recordings of the last Udo Jürgens concerts will be accompanied live on stage by the excellent orchestra, while Udo will be seen larger than life on a huge screen - a perfect illusion.
With the two actors and musical performers Tobias Licht and Karim Khawatmi, two well-known names will lead through the shows as presenters in an irregularly changing line-up and provide the best entertainment between the songs. Cologne-born Tobias Licht is known above all from numerous prime-time television films, but has also proven his versatile talent more than once in many successful musical productions (“Im Weißen Rössl”, “Chicago”, “Berlin Berlin”). Karim Khawatmi has made a name for himself in the German arts and culture scene in plays and musicals such as “Jekyll & Hyde”, “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Mamma Mia”, as well as in numerous television and gala appearances. Both Tobias Licht and Karim Khawatmi were engaged for the musical “Ich war noch niemals in New York”
and are very familiar with Udo's repertoire - the audience can look forward to extremely entertaining and anecdote-filled evenings.

With “Da Capo Udo Jürgens”, there is now the perfect opportunity to experience the musical work of one of the greatest artists and German-speaking songwriters of the 20th century live once again: Udo Jürgens was able to put a smile on our faces and lightness in our hearts with his charming, amiable manner as well as his music.
