Live zum Jubiläum 100 Jahre Westfalenhalle

The artist presents newly arranged unplugged versions of his songs in a specially designed stage show.

Four of the concerts will take place on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Dortmund's Westfalenhalle.

After his sold-out “4630 Bochum” shows this year, Herbert Grönemeyer returns to the concert stage in 2025 - and proves that he is always good for surprises, even after a career spanning more than four decades. Under the motto “in the middle - acoustic”, the artist will play selected highlights from his successful albums in newly arranged unplugged versions. He will be accompanied by his band and an orchestra. A specially designed stage set up in the middle of the hall provides the perfect intimate atmosphere.

These extraordinary concerts are linked to an extraordinary venue anniversary: the first Westfalenhalle was opened in Dortmund in 1925. To mark the centenary, those responsible are following the motto “Great celebrations call for great guests” and have invited Herbert Grönemeyer: On September 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8, 2025, he will play five “mittendrin - akustisch” concerts in the legendary Westfalenhalle.
