Dortmund’s Mega Holiday Record Fair on October 3
For over 30 years, October 3 has been a must-attend event for music fans in the Ruhr region: The Dortmund Record Fair always takes place on this holiday at the Westfalenhallen. This year, too, over 100 exhibitors from Germany and abroad will be showcasing well over 1 million records spanning all musical genres—from the 1950s right up to the latest chart hits. Whether it’s rap, rock, pop, heavy metal, house, funk, or soul—whether on vinyl or CD—we’ve got it all, including Schlager and rock ’n’ roll from the 1950s. Whether you’re looking for rarities or music on disc for a bargain (LPs and CDs start at just ½ Euro), this event is a must for anyone with ears. Even the latest vinyl records, fresh from the pressing plant, are surprisingly affordable. So, see you on Saturday, October 3 (a holiday) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dortmund Mega Record Fair in the Westfalenhallen.
