For a smooth and comfortable journey to our destination, please use the following destination address: Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund. Be sure to pay attention to the traffic flow in the nearby area. Below you will find detailed instructions to find your way to us and park comfortably.

Due to simultaneous events both on our premises and in the surrounding area, there may occasionally be delays during your arrival.

By car

Direct connection via the B1 (A40) to the highways A1 (Hansaline), A45 (Sauerlandlinie), A2 (Berlin - Hanover -Dortmund - Oberhausen), A42 (Duisburg - Dortmund), B1 (A44) (Dortmund - Kassel).

Please follow the signs to Dortmund and pay attention to our own signs on the highways. Details can be found on the highway route map (see below).

If you are using a navigation device, please enter “Rheinlanddamm 200” or the special destination “Westfalenhallen” as the destination address. From the destination address, please follow the signs in the local area. Only visitors to the administration should enter “Strobelallee 45” as the destination address.

Parking spaces in the immediate vicinity are available for around 8,800 cars and buses.

CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

If you are travelling with your electric car, you will find convenient charging facilities directly on the grounds of the Westfalenhalle.

Use one of the four MENNEKES electric charging stations with a total of eight charging points of 11 kW each, which are located in the immediate vicinity of the North Entrance. Payment is made conveniently by credit card. Charging is that easy:

  1. Scan the QR code at the respective charging point with your mobile phone
  2. Follow the instructions on the DEW21 website, which will take you there

In addition, two further charging points with a total of four charging points are available in the vicinity of Westfalenhalle:

  • At the Westfalenhalle A4 car park, Rheinlanddamm 200: 2 x type 2, 11 kW each.
  • Opposite the Rote Erde stadium, Strobelallee 45: 2 x type 2, 11 kW each.

Visit the Westfalenhalle and charge your vehicle quickly and conveniently at one of the many available charging points.

PARK TICKET

Buy a parking ticket for your event in our online shop and save yourself the hassle of searching for a parking space. Service per ticket:

  • Park in the immediate vicinity of the Westfalenhalle in the A3/A4 parking lot
  • Save time as there is no cashier process in the parking lot
  • Access is via the B1 and Ardeystrasse entrances.
  • The tickets are collected upon entry, so one ticket entitles you to park one vehicle.

This ticket does not entitle you to attend the event, but is an additional offer!

ENVIRONMENTAL ZONE IN DORTMUND

The city of Dortmund introduced a new environmental zone on January 1st, 2012. This covers large parts of the city area, including the grounds of the Westfalenhallen. You need an environmental sticker to drive in this environmental zone.

By public transport

With the subway line U 45 (direction Westfalenhallen) you can easily get from Dortmund main station to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in 10 minutes.

From Dortmund city center (Reinoldikirche or Stadtgarten subway stations), the U 46 (direction Westfalenhallen) will take you to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in about 5 minutes.

Alternatively, take the U 42 (direction Hombruch) to the “Theodor-Fliedner-Heim” stop. From here it is a few minutes walk to the exhibition center.

The route to the Westfalenhallen is signposted at the stops mentioned. All stops listed above are wheelchair accessible.
