DIETER NUHR - Nuhr on Tour 2027
Dieter Nuhr is a master of comic social commentary. He dissects the present day, unearths absurdities and contradictions at every turn, and crafts ever-new punchlines from them. Even when the world is in a questionable state, when Nuhr goes on tour, it seems hilariously funny. Dieter Nuhr’s subtle irony often goes hand in hand with crass incomprehension. He processes his bewilderment at the state of the world with sarcasm.
He is the influencer of the stage. With the news changing daily and ever-new scandals being whipped up, Dieter Nuhr’s show never stays the same for long. Amidst the constant barrage of news stories, new punchlines land every day. The show is constantly being revamped and completely overhauled. Dieter Nuhr’s programme is in a state of constant flux, and anyone returning a year later will not recognise much. It is the topicality of his humour that makes Dieter Nuhr unique. At the end, you leave the show as if after a visit to a psychoanalyst: the problems are still there, but you have learnt to endure them with a laugh. An evening with Dieter Nuhr is both fun and therapy.
