NATO – a dangerous military alliance

Dr. Daniele Ganser's - 2026 lecture tour
“NATO – a dangerous military alliance”

Swiss historian and peace researcher Dr. Daniele Ganser will be going on another lecture tour in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) in 2026. Under the title “NATO – a dangerous military alliance,” he takes a critical look at the role of the Atlantic Alliance in current world politics.

Since 1949, NATO has been a central player in military conflicts – and at the same time the subject of repeated controversial debate. Ganser, founder of the Swiss Institute for Peace and Energy Research (SIPER), asks: Why does the alliance repeatedly wage wars of aggression despite the UN ban on the use of force? What interests are behind this? And what consequences does the permanent expansion of the military alliance have for peace in Europe and worldwide?

“Peace is the basis for all healthy development – in countries, communities, and families. That is why we must take a critical look at NATO,” says Ganser. His lectures combine historical depth with a clear message: only through education and peaceful solutions can conflicts be permanently overcome.

With his bestsellers such as “Illegale Kriege” (Illegal Wars) and “Imperium USA” (Empire USA) and millions of views of his online lectures on YouTube, Ganser is one of the most prominent voices for the peace movement in the German-speaking world. The 2026 lecture tour offers the opportunity to experience him live – with current references and comprehensible analyses.
