Mr. Schröder is back! The state-certified German teacher is finally back on tour with his new solo “Der Rest ist Hausaufgabe”.

Mr. Schröder, the longest-serving young teacher and overhead projector turned human, presents his new double lesson “Der Rest ist Hausaufgabe”. He lights the way to a better future II and gives us the teaching power we all need. Because school today is a group puzzle with 1000 pieces. Solving it is like squaring the circle of chairs.

Johannes Schröder alias Herr Schröder is a qualified German teacher and comedian/cabaret artist. What sounds like a contradiction is ultimately a humorous form of self-defense. After twelve years at school and a part-time job as a break supervisor, Johannes Schröder set himself the goal of realizing his own comedy and stage project. In 2014, the German teacher moved from Offenburg to Toronto, Canada, where he learned the basics of punchlines in numerous comedy clubs. Back in his native Berlin, he began writing his first solo program. With his debut “World of Lehrkraft - Ein Trauma geht in Erfüllung”, “Herr Schröder” has now successfully toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

With his second program “Instagrammatik”, Mr. Schröder finally hit the road to success: not only does he fill arenas all over Germany; his crazy, creative and instructive reels on social networks are steadily growing his fan base and his shows are completely sold out in no time at all. Mr. Schröder's embracing humor makes the Cologne native an Insta-hero by choice, and his large community celebrates his output daily - complete with overhead projector. In June 2024, Mr. Schröder also invited people to the biggest detention in Europe and celebrated the biggest school party with “Instagrammatik” at the Rudolf Weber-ARENA in Oberhausen.

The third stage solo, called “Der Rest ist Hausaufgabe”, is due in 2025. Mr. Schröder has won numerous prestigious awards such as the “Stuttgarter Besen” or the “Prix Pantheon” and can be seen regularly on TV, for example on “Die besten Comedians Deutschlands” (SAT.1), “Nuhr im Ersten” (ARD), “Nightwash” (RTLII), “Till Reiners' Happy Hour” (3SAT), “Mitternachtsspitzen” (WDR) or in the “NDR Talk Show” (NDR). In addition, the companies STARKLfilm and hb all productions GmbH recorded the solo “Instagrammatik” for television on behalf of WDR.

'His first book “World of Lehrkraft - Ein Pädagoge packt aus” was published by Ullstein Verlag in 2019 and became a Spiegel bestseller. The second successful book “Instagrammatik - Das streamende Klassenzimmer” followed in 2021.
