Now it's time for the Masters of Shaolin Kung Fu to present their countless fans with a completely new and exciting stage show - as part of their magnificent 25th anniversary tour! The highlights of the sensational two-hour show include multi-faceted Shaolin Kung Fu, fascinating insights into the life, training and everyday life of the world-famous Shaolin monks as well as spectacular weapons demonstrations and breathtaking Chi Gong performances that will take the breath away from the astonished audience.

25 years of Masters of Shaolin Kung Fu - The anniversary show

More than 1500 years ago, traditional Chinese Kung Fu was only practised by the Chinese population. It was particularly widespread in the provinces of Shandong, Henan and Hebei. Among these kung fu fighters were many famous grandmasters who made it their goal to help the needy, protect the good and punish criminals. As a result, many villains and criminals were defeated and killed in battle by the kung fu masters. In order to escape the harsh punishments meted out by the government for their actions, many of these kung fu fighters fled to the world of the Buddhist monks, who were free and independent of worldly problems. 

The Shaolin Temple, which was subsequently built in Henan Province, took in many of these fugitive and homeless fighters. Traditional Chinese Kung Fu was thus introduced into the world of Buddhism and the high art of Shaolin Kung Fu was born. This unique combination of martial arts and spiritual practice formed a discipline that is still admired worldwide today.
