The Night of the Proms is a music event that is unique in Europe. Since 1994, the show has been thrilling an ever-growing fan base in Germany. Here, classical music meets pop, arias meet chart hits, suits meet leather jackets, and stilettos meet Chucks.
Like no other event, the Night of the Proms stands for building bridges between all musical genres. It is precisely this mixture that sets it apart from all other concerts and gives it an incomparable experience value. The fact that every year many of the more than 100,000 people secure tickets for the shows in advance without knowing which star guests await them is an expression of the fans' trust in the quality of the shows, which has grown over the years and been confirmed time and again.
The tour organiser does not see itself as a missionary for classical music. ‘Our credo is: the best of 300 years of popular music,’ says the Munich-based tour organiser, describing the idea behind it. Neither the musical genre nor the composer plays a decisive role. The music presented is music that inspires and was or is very popular in its respective era. ‘If you look at the records of Mozart's life, you will find many parallels with today's pop stars,’ adds Vereecke. It is precisely this mixture that makes Night of the Proms so special.
You too can be there again in 2026. All guests attending the show on 29 November 2025 can purchase tickets for the 2026 show in the foyer of the Westfalenhalle from 6.30 p.m. General advance sales via our website will begin on 30 November 2025.
