Added to this is the timeless magic of the music. When the composer Peter I. Tchaikovsky completed the ballet music in 1877, he had no idea that his melodies would soon become some of the most beloved works in the world. And the original choreography, created by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov in 1895, is still an absolute benchmark today. 

Our version corresponds to the fairytale original. It is about the great love between the noble Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, who has been transformed into a swan. But the sorcerer Redbeard, with all his cunning and his not unattractive daughter, stands between them. 

As a battle between good and evil, as a magnificent ballet with a festive character, as a "ballet blanc" with a graceful group of dancers in swan tutus and, last but not least, as a breathtaking love story that is exciting right up to the final triumph of the orchestra, "Swan Lake" offers many opportunities to learn to love classical music anew. 

Virtuosity and stylistic purity are the highest seals of quality. All generations will find their bliss here. Because this "Swan Lake" is intoxicatingly beautiful!

Unsere Version entspricht dem märchenhaften Original. Es geht um die große Liebe zwischen dem edelmütigen Prinzen Siegfried und der in einen Schwan verwandelten Prinzessin Odette. Doch der Zauberer Rotbart mit all seiner List und seiner nicht unattraktiven Tochter steht zwischen ihnen. 

Als Kampf zwischen Gut und Böse, als prächtiges Ballett mit Fest-Charakter, als „ballet blanc“ mit einer anmutigen Schar von Tänzerinnen im Schwanen-Tutu und nicht zuletzt als atemberaubende Liebesgeschichte, die spannend ist bis zum letzten Triumph des Orchesters, bietet „Schwanensee“ viele Möglichkeiten, die Klassik neu lieben zu lernen. 

Dabei sind Virtuosität und stilistische Reinheit die obersten Gütesiegel. Alle Generationen finden hier ihre Glückseligkeit. Denn dieser „Schwanensee“ ist berauschend schön!
