The thrilling film concert celebrates the cult film with a fan experience in a class of its own. To mark the 38th anniversary of the legendary, Oscar-winning film, “Dirty Dancing in Concert” returns to Europe and North America in 2026 with a world tour of more than 100 cities. The Global content market leader Lionsgate and GEA Live, together with Semmel Concerts, will present “Dirty Dancing in Concert” in Germany in April 2026. Audiences can look forward to unforgettable moments and be enchanted by the romantic charm of this beloved classic!
Almost a quarter of a million tickets have been sold so far for the thrilling live film concert, whose multi-platinum soundtrack has shaped an entire generation. Tickets will be available soon on our website.
“Dirty Dancing in Concert” is a unique experience that brings the unforgettable love story of Baby and Johnny back to life. While the digitally remastered film plays on the big screen, a live band with several singers performs the hits in sync with the movie. Afterwards, there is a fantastic after-show party. There will be a medley of favorite songs from the film—perfect for singing along and dancing. The audience can relive the most beautiful moments of the film, accompanied by the band's live music.

With its unforgettable soundtrack and legendary dance scenes, Lionsgate's timeless classic Dirty Dancing tells the story of a summer romance. The film was released in theaters in 1987 and quickly became an international box office hit. It was directed by Emile Ardolino, written by Eleanor Bergstein, and produced by Linda Gottlieb. In addition to Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the lead roles, Jerry Orbach, Cynthia Rhodes, and Kelly Bishop also starred in the film. The soundtrack spawned two multi-platinum albums and numerous singles, including the Oscar-winning song “(I've Had) The Time of My Life.” With worldwide box office takings of over $214 million, “Dirty Dancing” captivated audiences around the world.
