Do you remember the love story of Baby and Johnny? Let it touch you once again! With Dirty Dancing in Concert, the hit movie is currently being celebrated worldwide - in a perfect combination of cinema atmosphere and live music. The film classic, which shaped an entire generation with its soundtrack in the 1980s, returns with Dirty Dancing in Concert - more exciting than ever before. After great success in England, France and the USA, the Dirty Dancing in Concert tour will finally be coming to Germany and Austria in spring 2024.

The audience of Dirty Dancing in Concert will experience the hit movie in a unique and unforgettable way. The digitally remastered film will be shown in full length on a big screen, while a sensational live band together with outstanding singers and dancers perform and dance the unforgettable songs live and in sync. Fans are automatically swept away by the magic of the movie and the music. They can enjoy the classic movie they know and love once again in full length and at the same time discover it anew when the live band and soloists perform in parallel. At the subsequent after-show party, fans can party to their favorite songs from "Dirty Dancing" and round off a unique live evening.

In the film, written by Eleanor Bergstein and directed by Emile Ardolino, Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey played their most successful roles. When "Dirty Dancing" was released in 1987, the film was a worldwide sensation. The soundtrack resulted in two albums that went platinum several times over. One of the many singles was the world-famous hit "(I've Had) The Time of My Life", which won an Oscar for Best Song. "Dirty Dancing" grossed more than 213 million dollars and won the hearts of audiences everywhere.

In the summer of 1963, Baby Houseman (Jennifer Grey) travels with her family to the beautiful Kellerman's Hotel in the Catskills. Fascinated by dance teacher Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) and the very different lives of some of the staff, Baby learns to dance and falls in love - and experiences a time she will never forget.
