With a new live show and freshly created music, the US-Irish singer-songwriter Michael Patrick Kelly is going on tour again in 2026 after a long break: through 14 cities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland.
The multi-instrumentalist with the unmistakable 4-octave voice has now released his first single “The One”, a musical forerunner to his sixth studio album “Traces”. Like a promise, “The One” meets people's longing for stability and consistency in a world that is constantly changing. With this single, Michael Patrick Kelly has chosen a look at the subject of relationships that differs from most love songs.
The title of the new album “Traces” has symbolic power. Michael Patrick Kelly has long been more than just a seeker who deals with questions of values and meaning in art. Rather, he has left a huge mark on European music history. Several global hits from his pen and over 20 million records sold were followed by the most successful years of his solo career with his last album “B-O-A-T-S” (2021). The album turned out to be a true collection of hits (five top 5 radio hits, multiple international #1s, gold and platinum in several countries, 250+ million streams).
