The choral musical for a future worth living

“The Miracle of Creation” is a new epochal choral work that addresses the big questions of our time with the means of musical theater: If we can only solve global problems together, how do we find a common path?
The social debate between setting out and holding on, between courage and despair is reflected in the story of Judith and Ammon: an unhappy love between two people who have to make decisions - for themselves and for the child growing inside Judith. Is that even possible in a world that is becoming more inhospitable? Judith's family reflects our society like a burning glass: unshakeable optimists meet disappointed idealists, supporters of technological progress meet sympathizers of populism with a longing for yesterday. All of this takes place against the backdrop of the great biblical story of the creation of the world, which reminds us of one thing above all: the gift of life is unique and precious.
The cross-generational project with tens of thousands of participants promises an evening in which fear is transformed into courage, resignation into confidence, despair into hope and “I” into “we”. Musical greats from German pop culture open up a creative space for the next generation with a sonorous range of pop, gospel, hip-hop, rap and electronic music. At the heart of the new musical is a huge choir that accompanies and comments on the young people's search for solutions through music and lyrics.
