Inspired by big Hollywood blockbusters, the new show tells a thrilling story about friendship, fantasy and the courage to dream. Breathtaking figure skating, opulent backdrops and a soundtrack full of emotion merge to create an unforgettable live experience. From November 19, 2025 to April 26, 2026, CINEMA OF DREAMS will thrill audiences in 21 German cities with great cinema on ice.

The spectacular show transports the audience into the world of film: the focus is on three friends who bring an abandoned movie theater back to life and now produce their own films there. CINEMA OF DREAMS tells of the magic of cinema as a place that tells dreams, of the balancing act between artistic success and personal connection. Scene by scene, a multifaceted cinematic world unfolds: viewers experience various film genres live on the ice instead of on the screen - from retro to glamor to dazzling science fiction.

The captivatingly staged story has the feel of a blockbuster with its movement, breathtaking sets and elaborate costumes, surprising viewers with the perfect blend of action, emotions and effects. And because it's the soundtrack that makes a movie unforgettable, powerful beats and cinematic soundscapes also play the main role in CINEMA OF DREAMS: pop and rock songs and emotional ballads carry the show and give you goosebumps.

At the heart of the show is, of course, what has made HOLIDAY ON ICE unique for decades: figure skating at the highest level. 37 top international athletes bring technical precision, expressive dance and acrobatic excellence to the ice. Once again this season, performances by exclusive guest stars in selected cities will set special accents.

For CINEMA OF DREAMS, producer Peter O'Keeffe (CEO of HOLIDAY ON ICE) has brought together the international who's who of live entertainment. The top-class creative and production team under the direction of Kim Gavin (Creative Director for shows by Adele, Robbie Williams and others) merges sport and show into an atmospheric work of art. Gavin was already responsible for the anniversary show NO LIMITS (2023). He is joined by choreographer Adam Blake (Frozen, 100 Years of Magic), costume designer Michael Sharp (Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie) and stage designer Misty Buckley (Emmy Award).

Oli.P and his wife Pauline give the audience goose bumps 
A special moment awaits the audience at the premiere show in Dortmund: singer and entertainer Oli.P and former top athlete and figure skater Pauline Petszokat will be performing live on ice together for the first time—closer than ever before. Oli.P sings live, Pauline responds with movement – an artistic dialogue full of intimacy and emotion, including his biggest hit “Flugzeuge im Bauch” (Butterflies in My Stomach). “Standing together on the ice is something very special for us,” says Pauline. "Our relationship has been going on for a long time – but this is new: she brings figure skating, I bring music. And for the first time, the two are merging on stage," adds Oli.P.
