IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE ORGANIZER (as of November 2, 2026)
DEEP PURPLE: The remaining dates of the SPLAT! World Tour are also being postponed
Following the cancellations in Leipzig and Hamburg, the remaining concerts on the European and
UK tour cannot take place as planned.

Berlin, November 2, 2026 – Following the last-minute cancellation of the concerts at the QI Arena in Leipzig and the Sporthalle in Hamburg last weekend, Deep Purple has unfortunately been forced to postpone all remaining dates of their SPLAT! World Tour in Europe and the UK until further notice. The reason is a medical emergency involving singer Ian Gillan, who had to be hospitalized during the band’s stay in Leipzig. On the advice of his medical team and management, the decision was made to suspend the tour.
In addition to the previously canceled shows in Leipzig (Oct. 31) and Hamburg (Nov. 1),
the following concerts are affected:
Nov. 3, 2026 – Dortmund | Westfalenhalle
Nov. 4, 2026 – Berlin | Uber Arena
November 6, 2026 – Frankfurt | Festhalle
November 7, 2026 – Nuremberg | PSD Bank Arena
JAYLER was announced as the opening act.

In a personal statement, Ian Gillan addresses the fans:
“Dear friends, thank you so much for all the well-wishes and your support over the past few days—it means the world to me. In Leipzig, I had a health issue that required urgent treatment at the hospital. I had hoped to get the green light to finish the tour, but that would involve very serious risks. Therefore, on the advice of my medical team and management, we’ve decided to postpone the rest of the European and UK tour until further notice. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but it’s the best decision for everyone involved. Thank you for your understanding. Cheers, IG”
Deep Purple and their team are already working hard to reschedule the dates, which will be announced as soon as they are finalized. Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.

Following the British hard rock legends’ announcement of their extensive 2026 tour plans, they have now revealed details of their new studio album, “SPLAT!”, set for release on July 3 via earMUSIC.  

Once again, Deep Purple has teamed up with renowned producer Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, Kiss). Together, they have created an album that builds on the sound and attitude that have always set Deep Purple apart from the rest.

For over five decades, Deep Purple has been one of the most defining and influential rock bands in music history.
